Delete your driver account and your data
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This page is for delivery drivers who use the 1Rx Driver mobile apps (French name: 1Rx Livreur, published by 1Rx, on Android and iPhone) or the 1Rx web driver interface. It explains how to request the deletion of your account and the data associated with it, what is deleted, what is kept and for how long.
Important: your driver account is created and managed by the pharmacy you deliver for, not by you. You cannot create an account from the app. That is why deletion goes through the pharmacy or through our team.
1. How to request deletion
Two ways, your choice:
- Through your pharmacy (fastest). Ask the pharmacy manager to delete your account. In 1Rx, they do it from Settings > Users, Delete button next to your name. Deletion is immediate.
- Through 1Rx directly. Write to support@1rx.ca with the subject "1Rx driver account deletion", preferably from the email address you use to sign in to the app. Include your name and the pharmacy's name. We check that the request comes from the account holder (confirming with the pharmacy if needed), delete the account within 30 days of receiving the request, and send you a confirmation by email.
By the same means, you may also ask for the deletion of only part of your data (for example your last known position) without closing the account, or obtain a copy of the information we hold about you.
2. What is deleted
- Your sign-in credentials: email address, password, quick sign-in token, and the entry for your address in our sign-in directory.
- Your profile: name, role, preferences and devices associated with the account.
- Your last known position (the only position the server keeps; no movement history is stored).
- Data kept on your phone (the day's offline copy) disappears when you uninstall the app, or as soon as you sign out.
3. What is kept, and why
The delivery records you took part in (status of each delivery, times, proof of delivery such as photos and signatures, postponement or return reasons, cash amounts collected) belong to the pharmacy: they are its professional and accounting records, which it must keep to meet its legal obligations and practice rules. They remain in the pharmacy's file after your account is deleted, but are no longer attached to an active account. Their retention period is set by the pharmacy, which is responsible for those records; for any question about them, contact the pharmacy.
The encrypted backup copies of our servers, used only for disaster recovery, are rotated: daily backups are overwritten after 7 days and weekly copies expire in turn. They are never used to restore a deleted account.
